Challenge:
Find a fun way to reuse a pair of old, ripped Levi's.
Solution:
After hearing about or seeing 3 instances of fish motifs in the same day, I made a variation on a tiny pouch my sister received as a gift. The double-arched design on the back pocket of the Levi's lent itself well to being re-created as the fish's gills. Using the wrong side of the fabric created color variation for the scales, and a custom-braided forking cord streamlined the drawstring mechanism.
